Is the Utified Audio Editor free?

Yes. The editor itself is free to use in your browser. Exports run on our servers and currently cost no credits during launch.

Do exports include a watermark?

No. Audio exports are clean MP3, WAV or M4A files with no audible watermark and no quality cap on free accounts.

What audio formats can I import?

Anything modern browsers can decode — MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, M4A. You can also upload a video file and the editor will use its audio track.

What formats can I export to?

MP3 (compressed, 128–320 kbps), WAV (lossless PCM) and M4A (AAC). Sample rates from 8 kHz up to 384 kHz are available for studio workflows.

Can I mix multiple audio tracks together?

Yes. Add as many tracks as you need, place clips independently on each, set per-clip volume and fades, then export — every active clip is mixed into the final file.

Does my audio leave my computer?

For preview and editing, audio is processed locally in your browser. Files are uploaded to our cloud only when you choose to render an export, and are deleted after the retention window for your plan.

Do I need an account to use it?

You can edit and preview without an account. A free Utified account is required to upload files for cloud rendering and to save projects across sessions.
