Currency Converter with Live Rates

The Currency Converter shows the current exchange rate between any pair of 160+ world currencies. Rates are fetched from a free, open exchange-rate API that updates once a day at 00:00 UTC.

How it works

The tool pulls the daily reference rate for every currency against the US dollar. To convert A to B, the amount is first converted into USD using the reciprocal of the A-to-USD rate, then multiplied by the B-to-USD rate.

Notes on accuracy

Reference rates are mid-market rates. Real bank or card transactions include a spread on top — usually 1% to 3%.
For high-value transfers, compare rates with your bank and dedicated services such as Wise, Revolut, or Remitly before deciding where to send money.
