Audio Trimmer — How to Cut Audio Files
Audio trimming extracts a specific segment from an audio file without re-encoding (when possible). Enter the start and end times in mm:ss format — for example, 01:30 to 03:45 extracts a 2-minute 15-second clip. The tool uses FFmpeg's stream copy mode (-c copy) which preserves original quality without re-encoding, making it fast and lossless. This is ideal for creating ringtones from music, extracting podcast segments, cutting silence from voice recordings, or clipping sound effects. The output keeps the same format as your input file. All processing happens in your browser via FFmpeg WebAssembly.
