What goes in a sitemap?

loc: The full URL of each page
lastmod: Last modification date (ISO 8601)
changefreq: How often the page typically changes
priority: Relative importance (0.0–1.0) — homepage 1.0, deep pages 0.3

Submitting your sitemap

Upload sitemap.xml to your domain root
Add Sitemap: https://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml to robots.txt
Submit in Google Search Console under Sitemaps
