Broken Link Checker
Find broken links (404, 500, timeouts) on any web page. Checks every outgoing link concurrently and reports status codes.
Broken Link Checker
The Broken Link Checker scans a web page for all outgoing links (internal and external) and reports which ones return error status codes.
What counts as broken?
- 404 Not Found: Page no longer exists
- 410 Gone: Permanently removed
- 500/502/503: Server errors
- Timeout/Connection refused: Server unreachable
Why fix broken links?
- SEO: Search engines may demote pages with many broken outbound links
- UX: Broken links frustrate readers and reduce trust
- Crawl budget: Bots waste resources on dead URLs
