Repair PDF
Try to recover pages from a damaged or partially corrupted PDF.
Repair a PDF File Online
The Repair PDF tool tries to salvage as much as it can from a damaged or partially corrupted PDF — the kind that opens with errors, shows blank pages, or refuses to open at all.
What the tool can fix
- Truncated downloads where the file ends in the middle of a stream.
- PDFs with corrupted cross-reference tables.
- Files that show error dialogs in standard viewers but partially render.
What it cannot fix
Severely damaged PDFs — for example, a file where the header bytes are missing or the content streams are encrypted with a lost key — cannot be reconstructed. If no pages can be rendered, the tool reports the failure rather than producing a broken output.
How recovery works
Each page is rendered with a tolerant parser into a canvas, and the resulting images are stitched back into a fresh PDF. The output is image-based, so selectable text from the original is not preserved.
