The Rotate PDF tool fixes scanned documents that appear sideways or upside-down without touching the underlying content. Each rotation is recorded in the PDF page dictionary, so the file remains text-searchable and form-fillable.
Rotation choices
- 90° clockwise — for pages scanned in landscape but stored as portrait.
- 180° — flips upside-down pages.
- 270° — equivalent to 90° counter-clockwise.
You can apply the rotation to the entire document or only specific pages, expressed as a list like 1,3-5,8.
