Available formats

• Plain — 1, 2, 3…
• Page x of n — adds the total, helpful for printed bundles.
• Slash — compact 1 / 24 notation.
• Roman numerals — upper or lower case, traditional for prefaces and appendices.

Starting number

Need numbering to start at 3 because the cover and table of contents are unnumbered? Set Start at to 3 and limit the range so the first two pages are skipped.
