Dyslexia-Friendly Font Preview — Accessible Reading Tool
This tool lets you preview text in four fonts specifically chosen for accessibility and readability. Lexend was developed based on research into reading proficiency and has been shown to improve reading speed. Atkinson Hyperlegible was created by the Braille Institute specifically for people with low vision, using distinct letterforms that are harder to confuse. OpenDyslexic features weighted bottoms to help readers anchor letters and prevent perceived flipping. Comic Neue is a rethink of Comic Sans, which many people with dyslexia report finding easier to read. Beyond font choice, typography settings — line height, letter spacing, word spacing, and background tint (cream and yellow reduce contrast and can ease visual stress) — are often as important as the font itself. Experiment to find the combination that works for you.
