Instagram Downloader — How to Save Instagram Photos and Videos

Instagram allows saving posts to your in-app collection via the bookmark icon, but downloading to your device requires different methods depending on content type. For photos, right-clicking on instagram.com and saving the image is the simplest desktop method. For videos and Reels, creators can enable or disable the "Save" option — when enabled, you'll see it in the three-dot menu on mobile. IGTV videos can typically be saved from the three-dot menu. Always respect Instagram's Terms of Service and the creator's intellectual property rights. Downloaded content should only be used for personal purposes — not re-uploaded or monetized without explicit permission from the creator.
